Biography
Margo DeLeaver MD,FAAP,MA SpPsych,MA TCM(Acupuncture and Herbology)
 Optimal Health was established by Margo P. DeLeaver, M.D. a physician in the Culver City area of Los Angeles for over 20 years. Dr. DeLeaver is a New York City native, a graduate of Hunter College, New York, and of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. She relocated to California, finished her residency training at Cedars-Sinai Hospital Los Angeles, and then started a private practice in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Always interested in ways to be more comprehensive in the care she offered to her patients, Dr. DeLeaver went back into the university system and completed a four year Master's program in Traditional Chinese Medicine(which includes Acupuncture and Herbology) at Yo San University for Traditional Chinese Medicine and also obtained a Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Presently, Dr. DeLeaver has a fulltime Pediatric /Adolescent practice and an Adult and Child Acupuncture practice in Culver City,California and a second location for Acupuncture only in the Marina del Rey / Culver City area.
